"During my time working for U2FP, I've learned a lot about the specific struggles folks with a spinal cord injury (SCI) face. I love that our organization elevates the voice of the SCI Community, bringing them to the decision-making table so that they can work more effectively with scientists, legislatures and other stakeholders to help deliver better interventions more quickly. 

"This is my first time running to raise funds for any cause. I am not a marathon enthusiast, but now that the bar has been lowered to accomodate mere mortals, I'm hoping to run at least 3 miles, have a good time, and raise a lot of money for the great work I know (as an employee) our small grassroots organization does for the SCI Cure Movement!"

• What do you crave after a long run? What I always crave: water ... then beer
• Do you listen to anything while training? Nature is my soundtrack
• Tell us something unique or interesting about you?: I was a poetry editor of a literary magazine for 10 years.
• What makes you nervous or excited about the Virtual Run-Walk-Roll?: This is my first ever fundraising race. I was a mediocre (at best) track runner in high school. Hopefully I can experience some sort of runner's high again.
