Hi,

This is my great fortune to connect with you regarding my effort to unite and empower the international spinal cord injury community to cure paralysis through advocacy, education, and support for research.

Team Unite 2 Fight Paralysis (U2FP) credits its beginnings to Geoff Kent and his organization, Spinal Cord Injury Sucks (SCIS). He started a decade ago with a handful of runners in the Chicago Marathon, and his team grew rapidly, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for spinal cord injury research over a few years. In 2015, Geoff asked Unite 2 Fight Paralysis to take charge of the charity team and continue to foster its growth. Team U2FP is a group of hard working athletes committed to helping create change and find a cure for those affected with spinal cord injury through fundraising. U2FP athletes participate in a number of events throughout the year and are using their passions to make a difference. So, I joined Team U2FP to support spinal cord injury community. This will be my first effort to run for this team and I feel proud to join such a kindhearted team who are dedicating their time and effort for betterment of others life irrespective of any reference.

Some of my other previous efforts / activities include MS-150 biking event, which I participated 3 times, and was able to complete a 2 days 150-mile biking trek (Duluth to St.Paul). I also participated in the Lifetime Outdoor Triathlon 3 times completing non-stop clock swimming, biking, and running targets.

I am highly excited to join in the Twin Cities in Motion event, and am feeling happy to be a part of the U2FP mission.
