Camille’s son and Andrea’s nephew Max suffered a spinal cord injury 2 years ago in August. Camille, Andrea, and Max attended Working 2 Walk Iin Vancouver last October and were inspired by the work of the organization.

Camille- "I signed up for the race in the spring because I had not been excercising and thought this would be a step towards taking care of myself. Also, we encourage Max to be active and thought this would be a good way to set an example for him".

Andrea-" I have always been an advocate for being active and have loved running. I encourage my sister and nephew to both be active and when I received an email regarding spots open on the U2FP team I sent an to see if anyone was interested and my sister said yes! I am looking forward  to being able to do this with her and support this team. Sister bonding time and a beautiful Chicago day - a great combination".

FUN FACT

-Any kind of food is top of the cravings list after a long run

-The sisters listen to Indigo Girls during training

This is  Camilles first full marathon and Andrea ran the Richmond marathon in 2009.
