This is my second time running the Chicago Marathon for SCIS/u2fp. I thought that last year would be my first and last marathon, but I absolutely loved the experience. I cannot wait to take part in the 40th Chicago Marathon! I am actually excited to train and cannot wait to use what I learned last year to help me prepare and run the race this year.
I am running for two spinal cord injury survivors. My Uncle Jack Fox inspires me every day with his perseverance and positive attitude. Keep the faith, Uncle Jack! I am also running for one of my best friends, Kathryn Mahoney. Not only is she the team director, but she in an incredible athlete and overall wonderful human. This is for you KTM! :)

Team SCIS/u2fp is a group of passionate, hard working runners and wheelchair racers committed to racing the 26.2 miles and fundraising to advance research towards a cure for spinal cord injury.
The team raised over $73,000 in the past two years. All funds directly support our mission: to cure paralysis through advocacy, education, and support for research. Thank you for your support!
